NSS Camp

Under the guidance of our Principal Sr. Christina, NSS co ordinator Mrs. Vijayalakshmi and Sr. Victoria, Class 11 NSS volunteers of our school participated in the NSS camp held at Don Bosco Youth Animation Centre, Ennore from the 26th of September to the 2nd of October 2015. It was an experience of both fun and learning for the students. They visited the village nearby and took up charge of training nearly 150 students in in various fields like G.K, Dance, Music, Art, Rangoli, Thirukkural Recitation and Sports. They visited Mother Teresa Home at Ennore and offered their services. They organized a medical camp where doctors from Noble Hospital were invited to check the health of the villagers and also speak to them on the importance of maintaining good health. A cleanliness campaign was also organized whereby the students created awareness  among the people regarding cleanliness, by the way of placards and slogans. People were educated to keep themselves and their surroundings clean, to avoid deforestation, to conserve water, to stop using plastics
