The deepest roots of salesian spirituality are union with God, proclamation of the gospel, education to faith, formation of Christian community, bringing the yeast of the gospel to the situation. It also requires preferential love for the young people leaving all the rest behind.

Preventive system is an expression and practical application of this spirituality. It is lived with and forthe young. Salesian family involves many lay people on our mission and it is fundamental task to communicate salesian spirituality to lay people who with us are co-responsible for the educational ministry.
