Inauguration of the Canonical visit
Sr. Lucy Rose, the visiting counsellor and her secretary Sr. Veronica from Rome arrived on the 9th of August 2015, she was accorded a warm welcome by the schools of Chennai Province on the 11th of August at Fatima Matriculation School. This welcome marked the begining of the bicentennary birth celebrations of St. Don Bosco.
Students from Fatima school, Our Lady's Chetpet, Francis Xavier AI School (Broadway) and Our Lady's (Tiruvottiyur) performed cultural programmes like theme display, dance, song and bharatnatyam. The highlight of the programme was the cutting of the cake marking the 200th birthday of Don Bosco.
